Poster exhibition of the Greek National Tourism Organisation entitled "Greece in the world. Greece the Eternal Light", from the collection of Lefteris Lambrakis.

The exhibition includes posters from 1929, the year in which the Hellenic Tourism Office, later known as the Greek National Tourism Organisation (EOT), was established under the auspices of Eleftherios Venizelos, until 2009.

The posters of the Greek National Tourism Organisation promote and advertise in an active and multifaceted way the natural beauty and cultural wealth of Greece abroad, while at the same time forming a special field of artistic expression, in which important artists have distinguished themselves from the 1950s onwards.
Many posters are the work of great painters, such as G. Moralis, S. Vasileiou, G. G. Vakirtzis, P. Tetsis, M. Katzourakis, F. Karabot and famous photographers such as Elli Serairis (Nelly's), S. Meletzis, D. Harisiadis, as well as important graphic designers.

Alongside the posters, brochures from 1926, when the first steps were taken to promote our country, an original tourist model dating from 1929 to 1932, as well as promotional material from the early years of the Hellenic Tourism Organisation are exhibited.
