A documentary film about archaeologist Georgia Karamitrou-Medesidis' attempt to save what she can before it is lost forever at the bottom of an artificial lake in Western Macedonia. In the valleys and lowland areas of Aliakmonas there are important archaeological finds dating back to prehistoric times. For Georgia Karamitrou-Medesidis, Head of the L'Ephorate of Antiquities, time is running backwards. The site of archaeological interest will be transformed into a lake by the Ilarionas dam under construction by the PPC. The archaeologist is making enormous efforts to complete her rescue project (funded by PPC S.A.), which is two or three months away from its end and is in its most efficient phase.
